What more could a girl ask for? =)
Last Sunday, my Mom and I went of for some mother-daughter time. We went to the mall with the hopes of cooling ourselves as it was so hot outside, and to find a gift for my latest inaanak-to-be, Baby Alleena, the little girl of my dear friend Shyn.
Anyway, after we finally decided what to give for Alleena's christening, my Mom and I wandered around. We ended up buying 3 shirts, 2 shorts and a pair of jeans from Whatever! for me. Then my Mom spotted this sale/buy-1-take-1-on-selected-items crap; she is a sucker for sales and discounts. Mom chose tons of shirts while I was at the next stall buying a bottle of cheap imitation of Clinique Happy Heart. It's one of my favorite scents, and the very expensive bottle I got from my cousin a few Christmases back was long gone. So I'm limited to buying imitations, not that I mind since I get to save money and they both smell the same, branded or not.
So while my attention was on perfumes, my Mom was picking out jeans for me, and she bought me 3 skinny jeans, something I don't really wear coz I think they make me look more skinny than I already am. But hey, I'll take whatever I can get. And one come with a lavander belt, and I love jeans that comes with a belt. I also picked one pair of Bermuda shorts while waiting for my Mom to finish.
We were both tired from walking around, but we both enjoyed the day. We also had a good laugh from it because just as we were to ride the Multicab home, my Mom's sandal broke and I had to run to the department store to buy her a pair of slippers. Poor Mom, people were staring at us. Doesn't matter though, it's not as if they know us. LOL
When we got home, I ate dinner fast then got started on decorating Christmas trees. I was supposed to put them up last month, but I couldn't find where we store them. We have four trees at out house. One at the sala, one at the kitchen/dining area, one at our pharmacy, and one at my room (because I like looking at it).
Christmas is fast approaching, and I am so effing excited! I get a smile whenever I go to stores or restaurants and hear them playing Christmas songs. Santa I'll be good, please send me lotsa presents =)
